John Yannarell, the primary suspect in a road rage shooting on Route 422 a few weeks ago took his own life yesterday.  422 Road Rage suicide

Yesterday, Yannarell failed to show up in court and a SWAT team came to his home in Gilbertsville. 

When they went inside the home they found Yannarell had committed suicide.  Authorities are saying it’s a possible drug overdose.

His lawyer suspects that he took his own life after learning of more charges coming against him, stemming from two other road rage incidents.

According to Preston and Steve on 93.3 WMMR this morning they said his wife and children had left him and he lost his job. 

And, after he learned of more charges, he couldn’t bear it any longer.

  1. It is a horrible situation

    It is a horrible situation for sure. I mean people can’t end their lives just because they lost their job or something like that. I can’t understand such people. I lost my job too but I took a free future career test and found another job. Where is the problem? Of course sometimes it can be tricky but you must try. I hope that I won’t read such stories in the future.
